Save PC builds and shortlist the hardware you are considering. Everything stays in your own browser, with no sign-up and no account needed.
Stored on this device only.
Builds and wishlist entries are kept in your browser's local storage. Nothing is sent to a server,
there is no account, and clearing site data will remove them. Use Export below to keep a backup.
Keeping track of builds you are planning
Planning a PC usually means comparing several configurations before committing. This tool keeps
those configurations in your browser so you can come back to them, compare, and pick up where you
left off — without an account and without sending anything to a server.
Where the data lives
Everything is stored in your browser's local storage, on this device, under this domain. That has
real consequences worth understanding: a different browser or device will not see your builds,
private browsing windows do not persist them, and clearing site data deletes them permanently.
The export button writes a JSON file you can keep as a backup or move to another machine.
Why local storage rather than an account
An account would mean collecting your email, storing your data, and securing it. For a tool that
saves a handful of part choices, local storage does the job with no privacy trade-off at all
— which is the same reason every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser.
Suggested workflow
Save two or three candidate builds at different budgets, then run each through the
Bottleneck Calculator and the
PC Build Score. Comparing scored configurations side
by side makes the trade-offs much clearer than looking at parts lists alone.
Frequently asked questions
Where are my saved builds stored?+
In your browser's local storage on this device. Nothing is sent to a server and there is no account, which also means they are not synchronised between devices.
Will I lose my builds?+
They persist across sessions, but clearing site data or browsing history will remove them, and private windows do not keep them at all. Use Export to save a backup file.
Can I move my builds to another computer?+
Yes - export the JSON file, move it across, and import it on the other machine.
Is there a limit to how many I can save?+
Local storage allows several megabytes, which is thousands of builds. You will not reach it in normal use.
